    The Purpose of this Privacy Policy (referred to as the “Policy”) is to create a robust framework for the secure and compliant handling of Personal Data within Maha Privacy Conference 2024 (hereinafter, referred to as ‘Maha Privacy Conference’, ‘us’, ‘We’, ‘our’). This Policy underscores our steadfast dedication to safeguarding the rights of Data Principals, including customers, merchants & employees, in strict accordance with the Digital Personal Data Protection Act (hereinafter, referred to as ‘DPDP Act’, ‘Act’). We have established and enforced policies, manuals, standard operating procedures, controls, and measures to efficiently manage, and safeguard Personal Data acquired from Data Principals.

    We may collect personal information from individuals directly through registration forms, ticket purchases, speaker applications, sponsorships, and other interactions. The types of personal information collected may include but are not limited to:

    · Data Minimization: We shall keep Personal Data adequate, relevant, and limited to what is necessary in relation to the purposes for which they are processed.

We shall take responsibility for our processing of Personal Data and how we comply with the DPDP Act and be able to demonstrate (through appropriate records and measures) our compliance.

    · Storage Limitation: Personal Data shall be anonymized, redacted, marked for deletion, or deleted once the purpose of retention (both legal and business) is fulfilled.

    · To process registrations, ticket purchases, speaker applications, volunteer applications, and sponsorships

    · To communicate with attendees, speakers, sponsors, volunteers, and other stakeholders regarding event-related updates, sessions, schedules, and logistics

    · To add you to our WhatsApp Group and Community where we share information regarding events and updates from DPO Club.

    · To facilitate networking opportunities among attendees, sponsors, and speakers

    · To provide personalized event experiences and recommendations

    · To comply with legal and regulatory requirements

    · Photos and Videos captured during the event can be shared on the DPO Club Websites, Websites of Events hosted by DPO Club, and various social media pages of DPO Club and events hosted by it, including, but not limited to, LinkedIn and WhatsApp.

    We may transfer Personal Data to third parties as needed who must agree to protect Personal Data according to the applicable laws and must ensure the same level of security as we do. We shall share Personal Data when required by law or for legitimate interests. Government agency requests for Personal Data require formal written requests with a legal basis.
